COVID-19 Response
Hello everyone,
I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.
I am sure that you have noticed that I have temporarily shut down my practice. It was a decision I made with a heavy heart followed up by a state mandate to shut down all non-essential businesses. Seeing you every week brings me joy and purpose. Thank you for this. When I am not working on you, I feel tense and anxious. I am concerned for your well-being. We will have plenty of knots to work out of our bodies when this crisis passes. With this added stress, I am certainly missing my own massage therapist and chiropractor.
Initially, I was slow to process this pandemic and what exactly is happening on a national and global level. I needed some time to research and discuss all possibilities and options. I spoke with other practitioners, my bodyworker’s association, self-employed friends and colleagues in healthcare and it has helped me to understand what I can do to protect the high-risk population in my community. Since a majority of my clients are seniors, the best thing I can do to help them, is to practice social distancing.
Feel free to reach out to me if you are a high-risk client in need of assistance. I will do what I can to help you whether it is to get medicine or needed supplies. I am happy to chat with you or check in on you if you are feeling under the weather. If you are feeling lonely or isolated, I am here, just a text or phone call away.
Please be kind to others. Practice social distancing. Stay home. If you must go out, please protect others with a mask and stay 6 feet away. This is our civic duty. We are all in this together.
